Overview:

Participates in marketing Cetaphil Brand OTC cleansers and moisturizers.  Assists in planning, organizing, and controlling Cetaphil product from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize profit and meet sales, marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives.



Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned.

 

Participates in overall product strategy, research and development requirements, distribution, and manufacturing coordination for assigned products.

 

Develops tactical materials for National Account Managers (NAM’s) and field sales force.

 

Works with Demand/Supply Chain to develop and deliver unique sales opportunities through major wholesale and retail channels.

 

Develops multichannel strategies to include web, print materials, direct mail, email and other communications methods to deliver product message to the widest possible audience.

 

Develops and conducts market research projects to identify and track market trends in dermatology.

 

Develops and delivers training to various departments to support product development.

 

Conducts marketing analysis and develops field communications. 

 

Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.

 

Develops and maintains a prioritized list of customer and market requirements for product.

 

Provides financial and technical justification for product selection and definition.

 

Prepares product development objectives and schedules for all phases of product development and introduction to market.

 

Produces competitive analysis materials comparing Cetaphil with its key competitors.

 

Maintains communications and contacts to collect and analyze technical, financial, schedule, and sales information for product line.

 



Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related subject from four-year institution, MBA or advanced degree preferred. 

Four or more years of pharmaceutical sales experience as well as previous brand or product manager experience strongly preferred.   

Product Management experience in Health & Beauty or similar Consumer Products preferred.

Proficient in MS Office; especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 

Should be familiar with Oracle or similar tool.
