Galderma's medical advisors provide substantial input into the medical marketing strategy of a brand / franchise and serve as co-owners of the cross functionally designed "Integrated Medical & Marketing Plan" (IMMP). This plan will serve as the foundation for driving the 3-5 yr strategy of the brand / franchise. Personal integrity, people skills and transparent communication skills will be essential for this role as the principle interface between clinical operations and a brand / franchise marketing team.

| Responsibilities: |
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned). The medical advisor will partner with the brand team to collaboratively design and execute a medical marketing strategy for the assigned brand / franchise. They will function as a co-owner of the Integrated Medical & Marketing Plan (IMMP) and thus accept shared responsibility and accountability for the associated commercial results. In this role the Medical Advisor: - provides scientific and clinical input into Integrated Medical & Marketing Plan IMMP(s) for specified brand
- provides clinical support to brand / franchise team relating to medical content of promotional, medical and scientific materials
- supports brand / franchise as clinical expert in interactions with external and internal experts KOL (eg roundtable and consultant programs).
- develops drug monographs, patient teaching aids, claims data base for new Galderma products
- supports the review of promotional materials (and other) by Medical/ Legal/Regulatory (MLR) review team and supports compliance of brand / franchise
- assists medical information services (MIS) personnel in managing internal process and external vendor of function as required, evaluating and disseminating literature, creating professional response documents, FAQ's and SOPs
- facilitates the coordination with the clinical operations group to implement the agreed upon studies and publications. As an example, it is expected that the MA ensures alignment between the brand / franchise needs and expectations in terms of studies/ publications and the operational capabilities of the clinical team. (It is expected that the 3 year strategy section of the IMMP will allow for adequate resource planning in the operational team).
- acts as the brand / franchise medical expert supporting the pharmacovigilance team (incl. review of annual safety reports and quarterly (S)AE reviews).
- serves as a medical expert for the brand/ franchise for business development and franchise specific interaction with global R & D teams (eg input into global R&D protocols, disseminating data from non-US studies).
- supports MCO account managers with scientific and clinical expertise
- serves as the point of contact for the Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) team, supporting the brand/ franchise. In this role, he/she will bring feed back from field based MSLs to the medical marketing team as well as providing MSLs with guidance as to the scientific / clinical questions to to be addressed with external experts

| Qualifications: |
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Degreed Medical Doctor with experience or training in Dermatology preferred. A minimum of 5 years experience in the Medical or Clinical area in the pharmaceutical industry is a baseline. Must possess strong leadership and excellent communication skills as demonstrated by success as team and project leader and in vendor negotiations and external clinical presentations.
